Welcome to the Hillcrest Hive

At Anston Hillcrest we are passionate about providing the best possible education for all of our pupils, to enable them to reach their true potential and develop as individuals. The Hive is an integrated resource (IR) for pupils in Y1 - Y6 with Communication and Interaction as their primary need.

Admissions to the integrated resource at Anston Hillcrest Primary School are agreed through consultation with the school, and James Montgomery Academy Trust, through Rotherham's local authority EHCP team and the panel who meet to agree school placements.

Our curriculum offer is designed to provide opportunities essential for the learning and development of all students, enabling them to make progress against their personal targets and to be happy and resilient during their time in our school. We aim for all our children to have:

Confidence and self-efficacy
Resilience and ambition
Functional levels of literacy, numeracy and computing.

Our fantastic facilities allow us to provide bespoke educational provision for pupils through our three curriculum pathways, taking part in both the IR and the mainstream classroom depending on individual needs.
